Autism Spectrum Support Groups

ABOARD’s Autism Connection of PA offers several support groups for teens and adults on the autism spectrum in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area. If there is not a support group in your area and you would like to start one, please see our Support Group Guidelines.

We also provide information about the resources available to people with autism in Pennsylvania.

    • a hand-drumming class lead by a professional percussionist, who is a certified teacher extremely experienced in autism
    • a couple of galleries with cool art including Robots Alive at SPACE galler
    • relax in the Harris theater for free short films shown in autism-friendly style (lights halfway up, sound turned down)
    • get into the arts with puppet and mural making in a great indoor space
